Felipe Estela, Peru
Felipe Estela is a second-generation coffee producer from Querocotillo, in the northern reaches of Cajamarca, Peru.
He produces coffee as part of the El Morito community, a close-knit network of growers shaped by the work of the Flores family in San Ignacio. Since 2009, El Morito has become an important part of the region’s specialty coffee story, built around quality, community, and long-term investment in the people growing coffee there.
This lot is a blend of Bourbon and Caturra, grown in the highlands of Cajamarca. For us, it speaks to Felipe’s work, but also to the broader strength of El Morito, a community helping define one of Peru’s most exciting coffee-producing regions.
