Lenin Flores is the third generation of a family deeply rooted in coffee.
At Finca El Morito in northern Cajamarca, he works as both producer and quality manager, overseeing the group’s coffees while contributing his own lots. His experience in roasting and cupping gives him a practical, hands-on approach to quality and producer support.
The Flores family has grown coffee in Cajamarca since the 1970s, with Finca El Morito established in 2009 after the family relocated to San Ignacio. Today, the project brings together family estates and neighbouring producers across San Ignacio and Cutervo.
El Morito has earned multiple placements in Peru’s Cup of Excellence, but the strength of the project remains its people. For Lenin, this microlot is part of that ongoing work, carrying forward generations of coffee knowledge through careful harvesting, Bourbon and Caturra varieties, and El Morito’s typical double fermentation process.

Shipping
We roast on Monday and pack orders on Tuesday. Orders are shipped any day if stock is available. If your order is placed after 7am Monday we cannot guarantee that we will have stock available. In this case, the coffee will be sent the following Tuesday.
Local Pickup
Instructions will be sent via email when you place your order. You will be notified when your coffee is ready for pickup, it is available to pickup 24/7. Please ensure you double check your name and order number before taking your order from the shelf.
